We are a group of passionate Orthodox Christian musicians from around the world who are connected through faith, music, and the pursuit of Beauty.
Faith-Centered
The Orthodox Christian Musician Network is open to all Orthodox Christians who are active members in their local parishes. Catechumens, inquirers, and non-Orthodox are encouraged to join the Friends of the OCMN forum chats to discuss music-related topics.
Connecting Musicians
Each member can create their own profile, including a biography, audio and video recordings, and related links. Members can also connect with other Orthodox musicians on our exclusive forums.
Promoting New Works
Every month, the OCMN publishes a newsletter featuring member spotlights, new recordings, compositions, live performances, and other related events.
Our Story
Our founder, Julia, is passionate about connecting people. A lifelong musician, she is always excited to discover and become friends with other musicians who share her faith. As her circle slowly but surely grew, she started to see a disconnect between the number of Orthodox musicians she knew and how few of her friends knew each other. It was then that she realized there needed to be a better way for other Orthodox Christian musicians from various places to meet each other and share their music and experiences.
The OCMN began as an answer to her prayer - to connect Orthodox Christian musicians around the world through music, fellowship, and the pursuit of Beauty. We hope that our efforts will bless others as we strive toward the Kingdom, together.
